Blackman High School (please read details)

Students should wear their band shirt, band jacket, and jeans to school that day. We will also perform for a pep rally during the school day.

An early pizza dinner will be provided at SCMS after school is dismissed. Your child is welcome to bring other food if they do not want pizza.

The band will travel by school bus to Blackman High School. The game begins at 6:00.

Parents will pick up students at Blackman High School following the game. If you are not attending the game, please be sure to arrive on the Blackman campus by 7:30 PM. Sometime during the game, we will select a pick-up location and send that information to you via Remind text.

We will need a few students who live near SCMS to stop by the bandroom before going home to assist with the unloading of equipment.

We do need several parent volunteers that afternoon/evening. Please use the link below to sign up. Please sign up by this evening if possible.

Food Volunteers - We need four parents to assist with feeding the students at SCMS before students load busses. Please arrive to SCMS 2:45 and check in through the front office.

Game Chaperones - We need six parents to chaperone during the game. Please meet the band directors in the Blackman High School stadium no later that 5:30 PM.

Equipment Transportation Volunteers - We need three volunteers with large vehicles to transport equipment to and from BHS. Please arrive to the SCMS Bandroom door no later 2:45 to load equipment. Once we arrive at BHS, we will designate a loading zone for equipment to be loaded following the game. Equipment will need to be returned and unloaded at SCMS following the game.
