I am so excited to share the 2024-2025 school year with you! It's going to be a GREAT year!!
A bit about me...
I am a product of Rutherford County Schools, and I graduated from Smyrna High School in 2002. I graduated from MTSU in 2006, and I have my Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (K-6). I graduated from the Rutherford County Schools Gifted Academy in 2023, and I absolutely LOVE getting to teach ELA to my gifted kiddos each year. I live in Smyrna with my husband and two boys, Bryce (14) and Ian (11). When I'm not teaching, you can find me at the baseball field, reading, or napping.
I cannot turn down watching FRIENDS, gummy bears, chocolate covered pretzels, chocolate chip cookies, or coffee!
Below are some reminders for parents and students as you navigate this crazy, middle school world:
- Be sure to check Skyward on a weekly basis using your assigned username and password. Should you have any questions about your grades, you're welcome to email me.
- Use Clever (access via SCM website) to access assignments on Schoology, especially if/when you are absent.
- Be sure to stay organized and be prepared for class daily!
